NSS Drop The Metrostars 'Black Edition' Jersey

After the success of the original nss Metrostars jersey, in which Naples and New York were merged stylistically and culturally, a new drop arrives to take things in a darker direction, with the "Black Edition" adding an additional fashion layer to the release.

The nss Metrostars “Black Edition” was born as an extra-limited version of the original nss Metrostars jersey, inverting the colour scheme for an additional drop from the project, which was born with the aim of celebrating the football jersey as a truly fashion item. The “Black Edition” jersey, like the original before it, takes inspiration from New York Metrostars aesthetics, mixing the New York touch and feel with Naples soul. The two cities are strongly connected not only by their names, but also by San Gennaro: the saint is Naples' protector, celebrated by a huge parade in the city on September the 19th, when the infamous miracle happens. Outside Naples, New York - and in particular Mulberry Street - is the place where the biggest celebration of San Gennaro happens.

San Gennaro references can be found all over the jersey: in the crest – that received a huge twist from the original one – where the yellow hat of the saint stands out but also in the number 19 placed on the bottom of the shirt. The colour of the jersey is now black. The jersey is then enriched with an all over pattern of an apple, as an homage to the city that never sleeps.

After the sold-out in 48h original on StockX, this new drop will instead be featured on nss store and will be limited to just five pieces.
