Since their reemergence on the footballing scene, Meyba have been making waves in the lifestyle circuit, using their deep-rooted connection with the game as the perfect avenue to explore off-pitch style and the crossing of football culture with streetwear. Now the Barcelona-based brand takes its links with both football and streetwear into new territory, collaborating with kings of the football/fashion fusion, F.C. Real Bristol.
A mini capsule, the Meyba x F.C. Real Bristol collection is made up of three items, or if we want to go down the footballing parlance route, a home, away and third shirt. The first is a glorious design that instantly gives off Mexican or South American vibes. The black base plays host to a busy floral graphic that’s actually not too dissimilar to Manchester City’s third shirt from the 20/21 season, while the “F.C.R.B” callout comes in front and centre, alongside Meyba branding and the FCRB club crest.
That peach is joined by a more conventional black tee that lends all focus to the “Meyba” branding that takes residence in the sponsor slot. And finally there’s the turquoise number, which again follows suit with the black shirt’s layout.
