Combining the two loves of Brazil, Umbro have teamed up with Skateboard label High Company for a collaborative collection of cool that combines the Double Diamond’s sporting silhouettes with the street savvy shades of the skate scene.
In Brazil if you’re not playing football, you’re skateboarding. Or so we’re told. It’s all part of the lifestyle on the Samba streets of the South American nation, and now there’s a capsule collection that combines the two courtesy of a collaboration between Umbro and Brazilian Skateboard brand, High Company. The collection is uniquely inspired by Brazil's two biggest passions, and it comes packed out with a mixture of heritage shapes from the British brand, mixed with the influence of Urban lifestyle.
The collection features an array of apparel, including sweats, track jackets, drill tops, tees and shorts, with key pieces emblazoned with a signature purple flame graphic. That’s most prominent on the football shirts, which arrive with a serious retro vibe about their shape.
And the collection doesn’t just stop at clothing, with a special edition Fusion Z boot lining up alongside a Pro 5 Futsal shoe, both also bedecked in the same purple flame design elements.
All in all it’s a coming together of different universes and innovation, wrapped up in the streetwear scene.
