AC Milan & Rafa Leão Reveal ACM X RL10 Capsule Collection

Tapping into his natural charisma and persona off the pitch, AC Milan has revealed the exclusive ACM x RL10 capsule collection, developed in collaboration with their star player Rafael Leão.

Rafael Leão is one of those players that feel bigger than what we see on the pitch, and by that we mean that there’s so much more to him than just an outstanding attacking talent. The Portuguese has a natural flair; a level of creativity that carries away from his ability as a footballer, spilling into his other passions such as music and fashion. He’s a modern icon of international football, leading a new generation, and AC Milan tap into this with a new collaborative collection centered around Leão’s iconic celebration and reflecting the world of surfing, waves, family, and streetwear style.

The slogan “Every day is a new wave, everyday is a day of surfing” features throughout the collection, which features details inspired by ocean waves and references to Leão's goal celebrations on his social media channels, such as the phrase “We go” and the emoji of a surfer.

From the special Jersey inspired by American football, which emerges as the main piece of the collection, to oversized long and short-sleeved T-Shirts, to classic hoodies, the new collection celebrates the spirit expressed by the Portuguese footballer, deeply connected to the mindset of surfers: “Surfers sometimes catch the wrong wave, but then they get back on the board and do well. In life, you can try and make mistakes, but you must continue to learn, find solutions to the mistakes made.

Speaking about what the collaboration means to him, Leão said: “AC Milan is like a second family to me, where I have had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. In this environment, I have been able to develop many of my passions outside the field, from music to fashion. The ACM x RL10 line is another milestone in my growth, it speaks to the fans about me and represents me 100 percent. My goal is to tell my story and leave a mark on all the boys and girls who follow me, reminding them to always fight for their dreams.

The ACM x RL10 capsule collection is now available for exclusive pre-order on store.acmilan.com, and starting from 19 April, it will also be available in all AC Milan physical stores.
