Equipo FC & AC Saen Saep Collaborate For Frutas Equipo FC Capsule

Bringing back a flavour of summer, creative studio Equipo FC joins creative collective club, AC Saen Saep for a collaborative collection called FRUTAS EQUIPO FC, which is inspired by the citrus fruits of both Thailand and Spain.

Spanish-based creative studio Equipo FC have a strong connective thread of summery vibes running through their collections, from their now signature upcycled button-down shirts to collaborative collections with the likes of Real Betis. It could be down to their collective yearning for the warm weather and fun-filled months that only summer can bring, or it could be down to their geographic location. Either way, these forays into summer styles are often supported by Kappa, and that’s once again the case, as Equipo FC present FRUTAS EQUIPO FC, a collaborative collection produced in partnership with Bangkok-based football community club, AC Saen Saep.

The FRUTAS EQUIPO FC collection is inspired by the citrus fruits of both Thailand and Spain – a shared connection that binds the two entities. As part of this, the Spanish studio is fictitiously transformed into the Thai club's new vitamin sponsor, making the entire collection revolve around that storyline.

The drop features vibrant and colourful garments, with the soccer jersey and muay thai shorts – both produced in collaboration with Kappa – standing out among them. As well as being an eye-catching item in the collection, the shorts are actually the first garment for muay thai sport that Kappa have ever produced, launching exclusively in this collection. Adding to their general allure and authenticity, they are also handcrafted in Thailand.

Alongside the shorts is the Kappa-produced jersey, which arrives in a bold yellow, orange and green colour combination. The yellow base is overlaid with orange hoops through the body, while green accents border the design through a block execution in the lower portion, the classic collar, and of course, the Omini logo running down the shoulders and arms in Kappa Banda formation. The “EFC” logo is the seamlessly integrated into the design in the sponsor slot, appearing as the design-inspiring orange.
