KidSuper Teams Up With Ronaldinho For Homage-Fuelled Collection

Having been teased throughout the year, including an appearance at Paris Fashion Week, KidSuper and Ronaldinho’s ‘Colmdinho’ collection has officially been revealed.

Imagine creating a clothing line in homage to one of your heroes, and then getting said hero to be so on board with it that he models it for you. Well that’s the dream-come-true scenario for KidSuper founder, Colm Dillane, who, together with the Brazilian legend, has just revealed his new collaborative clothing capsule titled ‘Colmdinho’. It arrives after several teasers throughout the year, including the Paris Fashion Week appearance waaaay back in January and, more recently, a social post from KidSuper confirming its existence.

Now, the long-awaited ‘Colmdinho’ collection is set to officially drop on 8 November. Dillane has not shied away about his love for ‘Dinho, and having had him walk out for the brand’s “STRING THEORY” AW24 show, it was only a matter of time before this collaboration happened. The collection itself features many pieces we’ve caught sight of in recent months, namely the jerseys that feature a halftone image of a young Ronaldinho among other details. In addition, there is a range of trackwear, which — like the jerseys — features a Grêmio-inspired badge that reads ‘KidSuper Football Club’. Other off-pitch pieces include a long sleeve covered with another photo from the R10 archive.

I can’t believe this is happening,” said Dillane via the KidSuper Instagram channel. “This collection represents more than just clothing, it is the physical embodiment of dreams coming true. Best collection ever. Thank you Ronaldinho for bringing a smile to the world and making a little boys dream come true!

When I was a kid all I wanted to be was Ronaldinho. I tried to copy his every move. I’d stay up for hours and hours trying to do the around the world just like he did. I wanted to exude his charisma, his joy, his vibrance, his freedom for life. I tried to smile like Dinho. I tried to dance like Dinho. I tried to dress like Dinho. And now I got to collaborate with Dinho. Never grow up my friends // for those of you who know how much this means to me. SUPERDINHO™️"
