adidas Re-Release The Newcastle 95-97 Home Shirt

Nearly three decades since Kevin Keegan’s “Entertainers” etched their names into football folklore, adidas brings back a certified classic: the 95-97 Newcastle United home shirt.

The Newcastle United x adidas partnership was rekindled at the beginning of the 24/25 season after a decade apart, and the Three Stripes have been quick to tap into the archives. First up they had a retro-fuelled away and third shirt, and now they follow it up by rereleasing an absolute cult classic from the archives. A proper piece of footballing nostalgia, the 95-97 Newcastle United home shirt is available once again as a one-to-one recreation that delivers all the iconic details that made the original unforgettable.

From the henley collar to the jock tag label, every stitch evokes memories of a time when the Magpies were lighting up the Premier League with swagger and style. The famous black-and-white stripes remain timeless, while the woven badge serves as a proud nod to the club’s rich heritage. The iconic design is a symbol of a team that captured the hearts of fans and neutrals alike.

Back then, players like Shearer, Ginola, and Beardsley graced St. James’ Park in this design, spearheading an era of exhilarating football that almost delivered a title. Now, this retro reissue offers fans the chance to relive those glory days, or discover them for the first time.

The Newcastle United 95-97 home shirt is available from Thursday online and in-store. Mags+ Members get early access 24 hours before launch.
