Macron Team Up with Studio Dumbar for DEMO Festival 2025 Special Jersey

DEMO Festival 2025 takes place tomorrow, a unique event celebrating motion design as a form of artistic and communicative expression. To honour the event, Macron have designed a special jersey in collaboration with Studio Dumbar.

In partnership with the designers from Studio Dumbar – an international branding agency specialising in visual identity and communication design – the DEMO Festival Special Jersey 2025 takes a symbol of sporting passion and athletic performance, such as a football jersey, and transports it into the world of design.

DEMO festival is a day dedicated to motion design, involving cities all across the world such as Cardiff, Leeds, Brussels, Hamburg, Antwerp, Madrid, Barcelona, Los Angeles and Vancouver to come together and celebrate artistic expression. Whilst the main event takes place in Amsterdam, the festival is displayed on large LED screens across all the cities above to allow everyone to get involved in one way or another.

“This collaboration is a further step in the process of strengthening the brand identity that we are pursuing in various fields beyond sport”, commented Angelo Marino, Chief Brand and Communications Officer of Macron.

“Performance, aesthetic research, functionality and innovation, which represent some of our most important values, are well present in fashion, art, music and, as on this occasion, in a global design event. We enthusiastically participate in the DEMO Festival, eager to get in touch with a community of creatives and innovators capable of recognising and appreciating what is beautiful and well-made, as we believe this Special Jersey that we have created together with Studio Dumbar is.”

Onto the jersey itself, fashioned in a total black colourway it is customised with a tone-on-tone sublimated design in which the festival logo is repeated across. It’s rare that an all-black kit doesn’t look class and this is not the exception. From the long sleeves to fold-over collar, it is clear that this is designed with influence from retro style jerseys over the years. Giving it a look perfect for a casual fit at any festival – embrace the bloke-core. An embroidered map of the world is used as a 'club badge' on this jersey, reflecting the dedication to making the event inclusive worldwide.

The DEMO festival 2025 special jersey will be available from 30 January at macron.com
