Athleticism is the ‘IT-theme’ for fashion labels in the last few years, Aimé Leon Dore being one of the most esteemed brands in the business. Once again athletic wear returns for ALD’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection. Here, we have highlighted some of our favourite looks.
Aimé Leon Dore is a well-established fashion and lifestyle brand, founded only 11 years ago. The New York based brand has asserted themselves straight into the industry, perfectly fusing ready-to-wear fashion with international athletic wear, aside from their more preppy ethos. Previous partnerships with Puma, New Balance and New Era, have aided in gaining even more hype around their products. Not only do they have the sharpest clothing, but they also have the aesthetic to match. With few in-person stores, ALD make up for quantity with quality, putting up some of the cleanest aesthetics I’ve ever seen in a store.
The ALD lookbook for SS25 sees 50 different looks, all of which are unique to the brand and their style, with added hints of a sporty theme. A standout look from the collection features a one-piece Porsche racing suit – serving as a continuation from their intial collaboration, the Porsche 993 Turbo Capsule. Keeping to the racing looks, a Vanson Distressed Leather Moto Jacket features Champion and X-RAY patches – resonant of iconic F1 gear – which is available in two contrasting colourways.
Other highlights of the collection include a nautical GORE-TEX Coast Guard jacket, vintage rugby-style crewneck, and pink short-sleeve jersey. And, of course, we couldn’t miss a shoutout to those retro fingerless biker gloves. Timeless.
SS25 brings us a new array of the iconic Aimé Leon Dore take on New York Yankees designs, a favourite amongst fashion lovers. Fashioning a vibrant orange quarter zip, alongside hooded jackets, bomber jackets, vests, and obviously plenty of the infamous cap designs. A collection for the ages.
