Spanish creative studio Matinal have teamed up with Outerview to release ‘Altered Pattern’, an innovative football jersey in collaboration with adidas. The drop explores cycle rupture and the new shapes of football, whilst serving into ‘breaking the loop’ of football culture.
Matinal is a creative studio and community dedicated to football culture. Researching diverse forms of sport off the pitch and in third half environments, Matinal explore the rich culture surrounding the beautiful game. In their latest partnership with Outerview, Matinal have crafted a unique football jersey design in collaboration with adidas.
The project arrives as ‘Altered Pattern’ – leaning into idea of redefining culture mindset and style. Fashioned in an Inter Milan-esque blue and black colourway, stamped with the iconic Three Stripes alongside a bespoke Matinal x Outerview double-layered crest. Donning the front of the shirt is large digital, placed in-between the words ‘Altered Pattern’ which stand out in blood red. Serving as a little easter egg for fans, a FLAKK TEAM 2025 official logo can be spotted on the lower back of the jersey – a statement of the polycultural sense of community Matinal and Outerview share.
