adidas SPZL Reveal Spring Summer 2025 Collection

adidas SPZL continues its legacy of cultural reverence and archival reinvention with the launch of its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Under the watchful curation of Gary Aspden, this latest drop is a cinematic ode to adidas’ past and present, transported into the future.

With 10 years in the bag, signed, sealed and celebrated in style, the adidas SPZL line moves with the times, taking its first steps into its second decade with its latest collection for Spring/Summer 2025. A celebration of adidas’ unmatched heritage, the collection comes to life through a campaign fronted by British actor James Nelson-Joyce, captured by the legendary Kevin Cummins, and scored by Syd Minsky of Working Men’s Club.

At the heart of the collection is a footwear lineup that taps into the DNA of adidas, blending iconic silhouettes with fresh hybrids. The TRX Mesh SPZL modernizes the classic TRX, maintaining its signature blue/yellow scheme while introducing a refined upper. The Handball Cup SPZL draws from ‘80s handball heritage, fusing elements of the Handball Spezial and Handball Top into one cohesive design. With a soft suede upper, red-accented leather overlays, and a gum rubber outsole, it’s a nod to nostalgia with a contemporary twist.

The Failsworth SPZL revives the rarely-seen adidas Barbados silhouette, merging its low-profile suede structure with T-toe details inspired by the Universal SL. A muted palette and vintage chocolate brown branding enhance its retro charm. Meanwhile, the Roelee SPZL builds on the Whalley SPZL, fusing it with Gazelle SPZL foxing details for a refined hybrid style. Elsewhere, the Pampanga SPZL reinterprets the archival adidas Squire, while the A. Aspden SPZL pays tribute to Gary Aspden’s late father, incorporating his signature onto a court shoe inspired by the Las Palmas.

The apparel collection extends SPZL’s distinct aesthetic with key pieces like the Halewood SPZL Parka, available in forest green and black, and the Billinge SPZL Hoodie, Brockhall SPZL Tee, and Mod SPZL Tee, all grounded in the line’s stylistic ethos. Ripstop reworks of sporting classics appear in the Hudswell SPZL Jacket and Shorts, while the Salesbury SPZL Trousers and Wardour SPZL Vest round out the range with tailored functionality.

Accessories follow suit, headlined by the ST10 SPZL Bag and Hip Bag, the Mod Trefoil SPZL Cap, and a twin pack of Mod Trefoil SPZL Socks.
