Arsenal have unveiled the first-ever Arsenal Women’s lifestyle collection, paying tribute to the dedication and inclusivity of their community. The exclusive 18-piece collection fashions a red/black/white colourway and adorns a bespoke ‘AWFC’ logo alongside the renowned Gunners cannon.
International Women’s Day is coming up on 8 March, and Arsenal are celebrating the occasion with an exclusive collection that pays homage to Arsenal Women’s 38-year story. The collection celebrates the community of players, legends and supporters who aided in pioneering the growth of the women’s game.
Arsenal Women’s team began as a girls-only football session run out of Arsenal in the community in the 80’s, built as a safe and inclusive space for the girls of North London to find their passion. Built on top of the community foundations, the official team was established in 1987 with the investment and commitment from the club to assemble a successful team. Now, 38 years laters, Arsenal Women have won a staggering 60 trophies – including 15 league titles and 14 FA cups.
Arsenal forward, Beth Mead, who features in the launch, said: "I’m proud to see the launch of our first women’s lifestyle range. It’s a tribute to our incredible supporters, the energy they bring, and the love they show us. Wearing this as a player and as part of the Arsenal Women community is a reminder of our journey together – the legends who paved the way for us, and our supporters who drive us forward now and in the future. Together, we will wear this with pride as one community that lifts each other, and where everyone feels like they belong."
The collection pays tribute to the great success of the team and encourages more in the future. The 18-piece collection is made up of a track top, track pants, vest top, baby tee, jersey, socks and more – all fashioning the traditional red and white of the Gunners. The iconic Arsenal cannon adorns the chest, acting as the club badge on the jersey, alongside a custom ‘AWFC’.
After a historic 5-0 win over North London Rivals Tottenham at the Emirates, the range was debuted at the clubs first ever sapphic after party at La Camionera in Hackney, bringing together the Arsenal family to celebrate the victory and champion the safe and inclusive space Arsenal Women have founded.
Arsenal Women’s next fixyure vs Liverpool at the Emirates will be the first time that the club has ever hosted a pitch-side DJ, where lifelong Gooner, Jordss, will take to the decks in the new AWFC collection for a special set before the game. What a perfect way to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Jordss outlined her pride in the club, saying: “I’m so excited to be the first ever pitch side DJ at Arsenal. It feels so special to do what I love with the club I love - and in the first ever Arsenal Women collection! This club continues to push boundaries on and off the pitch, and it makes me so proud to be a Gooner.”
