Kith and adidas are back at it again. The duo have announced their return for a fresh collaboration set to drop later in April, and what better time to reflect on the trio of collections that have shaped their partnership so far?
Seven years since their last link-up, Kith and adidas are gearing up for a new chapter—one that once again redefines the fusion of football and lifestyle. From past drops, we know to expect a blend of co-branded apparel, accessories, and footwear, all served with Kith’s unmistakable style. This partnership has always been about pushing boundaries, taking football aesthetics and elevating them with streetwear sophistication.
From premium materials to bold graphics and innovative silhouettes, every collection has brought something fresh to the table. But before we look forward, let’s take a deep dive into the three “Season” drops that set the tone back in 2017 and 2018.
Season 1 – Spring 2017
The debut Kith x adidas Football collection hit differently. A meeting of minds that blurred the lines between performance and lifestyle, it saw the introduction of Kith Cobras and Kith Flamingos, both taking centre stage for the debut campaign. The result? A collection drenched in stylised swagger, where football shirts were reimagined with pastel tones and premium finishes.
Track jackets, tops, and a full wardrobe of apparel and footwear set the standard for what would follow. This was more than just a collection—it was a statement. A statement that simply said if professional football clubs adopted a similar vision, we’d be looking at the most stylish sport on the planet.

Season 2 – Fall 2017
Bigger, bolder, better. The second chapter in the Kith x adidas Soccer saga upped the ante, introducing a third club—the LA Rays—alongside returning teams the Cobras and Flamingos. With an expanded palette and an 82-piece lineup, this drop was about evolution.
As temperatures dropped, the gear adapted. Climacool and Primaloft tech ensured warmth without compromising performance, while the footwear selection grew with six new styles. The Nemeziz UltraBOOST 17+ got three fresh streetwear iterations, while the laceless Nemeziz 17.1 TR owned the turf. Game socks, caps, beanies, duffel bags—it was all there, completing a collection that was as technical as it was aesthetic.

Season 3 – Summer 2018
The grand finale. Or so we thought... Chapter 3 of the Kith x adidas Soccer trilogy arrived with a patriotic twist, dropping just in time for the 4th of July. With the US absent from the 2018 World Cup, Kith took matters into their own hands, repping their three clubs with designs inspired by iconic ‘90s USMNT kits.
On-pitch, the collection delivered full home-and-away kits for each team, complete with goalkeeper gear. Off-pitch, the vibes continued with premium tracksuits, windbreakers, one-piece flightsuits, and sideline polos. The accessory game remained strong—scarves, cross-body bags, socks, and more. And on foot? The ACE 16+ Purecontrol UltraBOOST and COPA Mundial 18 UltraBOOST brought it all together in classic Kith-meets-adidas style.

From the streets to the pitch, the Kith x adidas collaborations have redefined what it means to merge football and fashion. Now, with a new drop on the horizon, we can’t wait to see how they push the game forward once again.
