adidas' 2015 sneaker game was bang on point. An upsurge in innovation and design saw the brand come back fighting hard with an imposing series of collections lead by the Ultra Boost - a shoe that has now been transformed into spectacular gold-plated & ceramic sculptures by artist Lee Chun.
The showpiece from Lee Chun's project is a gold-dipped and plated edition of the popular adidas silhouette accompanied by two ceramic editions, each hand-painted with Chinese porcelain detailing using gold paint. Finished in immense detailing from the Torsion System and Boost soleplate to laces, stripes and Primeknit upper, you can't wear 'em but it's hard to deny they'd look damn good on your mantelpiece though.
