Honouring one of their most famous sons to celebrate 20 years since Manchester United's treble success, adidas have launched a David Beckham UltraBoost edition that pays tribute to that iconic 1998/99 season and the man who wore the number seven shirt to lift all three trophies.
The white Primeknit upper is decorated with call outs to the former United midfielder that celebrate a season where he helped his club win the Premier League, FA Cup, and of course that historic comeback against Bayern Munich to lift the UEFA Champions League. The running shoe features a white lace cage with reflective “Three Stripes” branding while a statement “DB99” is printed in black on the BOOST midsole.
The David Beckham 2019 UltraBOOST is wrapped up with a fluorescent-red 3D heel frame, and further David Beckham branding on the tongue and insole. Yeah, you're right, it is all bit random. The David Beckham x adidas UltraBOOST 2019 is set to drop on adidas stores later this week having first appeared exclusively on the China store.
