Urban style meets high performance running technology as adidas launch the 4D Run 1.0 in a clean, spring/summer ready “Cloud White/Core Black/Gold Metallic” colourway that offers up some serious Superstar vibes.
As the adidas Originals Superstar continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary in some considerable style, with collaborations with the likes of Prada and Pharrell, the Three Stripes have been quick to ensure that its inline relations show their appreciation too. And so it is that the 4D Run 1.0 adopts the Superstar’s classic “Cloud White/Core Black/Gold Metallic” colourway.
This homage-laden look follows up the “Black and Gold” colourway that was revealed yesterday, inverting that paintjob and slapping it on that familiar “Aero Green” outsole. While that technology has been mooted as a replacement for the super-popular Boost, it has yet to really make its mark in either a performance or lifestyle sense. But both this colourway and the Black option – along with the possible "Triple Black" option certainly lend it a far more street-ready feel than anything that has come since its debut in January of this year.
