Rounding out the club’s look for the season, New Balance have dropped a limited edition bespoke FC Porto 997H sneaker, which the clubs’ players will wear before and after games next season.
New Balance have already unveiled FC Porto’s new home, away and third kits for the 21/22 season, and now that on-pitch attire is joined by a lifestyle offering in the form of the bespoke 997H sneaker. It’s not an uncommon move for New Balance, who have produced shoes for the likes of Liverpool and Celtic back when they were in partnership, but now attention is fixed on the Portuguese side.
The brand collaborated with the club for the creation of the limited edition shoe, with all the Dragon’s teams will wear the 997H footwear next season before and after games.
Featuring the club’s famous blue and white palette plus gold tones, the special design includes ‘FCP’ lettering, whilst the Club badge is also added to the inner sole. A special signature which translates to ‘Like us. One of Us’ in recognition of the special bond between FC Porto fans around the world can also be found in the shoe.
