Rolling out its special sneaker treatment for its newest team, New Balance drop an AS Roma-edition 997H trainer, which arrives wrapped in the traditional colours of the Giallorossi.
Having dropped two fresh kit designs to kick off their new partnership in style, New Balance now roll out their sneaker game for their newest club, AS Roma. In the past New Balance have made a habit of producing shoes for their affiliated teams, such as Liverpool and Celtic back when they were in partnership, and they’ve continued that this season, providing a special edition 997H for Porto. And so it makes sense that they’ve done the same for Roma.
Introduced in the club’s traditional yellow and red palette, the special edition 997H features the La Lupa on the inner sole, whilst the iconic Club badge is also added to the front of the shoe, sitting proudly on the tongue.
Constructed from layered mesh and suede, the heritage inspired silhouette is part of New Balance’s ‘Only Roma’ campaign for the season ahead, in recognition of Roma as a way of life.
