Mo Salah finally got his own signature edition boot from adidas in the form of the X Speedflow MS.1 ‘Prepare for Battle’, but it didn’t come alone, with a corresponding apparel collection landing alongside it. And that’s not all – he’s also got his own signature edition UltraBoost as well.
No doubting that, on ability and form over the last few seasons, Mo Salah is one player who rightly deserves his own signature line. And so adidas has duly obliged, offering up the X Speedflow MS.1, which the Egyptian King is set to wear in his nation’s imminent Africa Cup of Nations campaign. But while the boot is the flagship piece, it comes as part of a wider collection that also features a sleek signature UltraBoost trainer.
The Mo Salah UltraBoost arrives in a black base with golden details flashing through the UltraBoost wording on the outer heel and signature on the inner, along with the ‘Salah’ signature crown logo on the tongue. That all rides on the classic UltraBoost midsole, which has been given a black and white hieroglyphic graphic look that’s is also replicated on the laces.
The ‘Prepare for Battle’ pack is rounded out by the apparel that comes in the vivid red that’s synonymous with Egypt. The Three Stripes branding runs down the sleeves in gold, standing out on a black base, while the crown logo is the perfect sign off. The collection features a tee and track jacket and pants.
