Nike Drop Air Max Plus 'France Football Federation' Edition

Offering up an alternative option for fans of Les Bleus to show off their support during the coming tournament and beyond, Nike have dropped an Air Max Plus ‘FFF’ trainer, which comes dressed out in a look taken straight from the France national team’s World Cup home shirt.

The new France home kit for the coming World Cup arrived back in September, bringing a darker navy tone combined with golden accents for what is a classy but understated look. Now Nike take that look and wraps the Air Max Plus in it, for a colourway officially called “Midnight Navy/White/University Red/Metallic Gold”. But it doesn’t just stop there, with a reflective finish that gives the shoe an entirely alternative look in the dark.

The Nike Air Max Plus ‘FFF’ is constructed from a full navy base of mixed mesh and leather material and features details including a black TPU cage and gold detailing, notably on the Swoosh, tongue tag and the “FFF” stamped on the insoles. A small tab on the heal reads "Nos différences nous unissent" (our differences unite us), the slogan of the French national team which is also found on their kits. A Floral "Toile de Jour" patterns on the Air Max midsole offers a nice finish on the underside.
