Building appeal and expanding their community, adidas Skateboarding has partnered with iconic Boston skate shop Orchard for a brand new Orchard x New England Revolution footwear and apparel collection inspired by enduring ties between sport and skate.
North America is leading the way in expanding soccer culture into all new avenues, evolving off-pitch culture like no where else in the world right now, and the latest example of this comes courtesy of New England Revolution, who are the focus of a collaboration between adidas Skateboarding and iconic Boston skate shop Orchard, who have partnered on a footwear and apparel collection. The capsule pays homage to collegiate, punk and other historical subcultures unique to Boston with designs that speak to skaters and soccer fans alike.
For the collection’s footwear, Orchard naturally opted for the Samba ADV—a heritage classic with roots in soccer. The Orchard x New England Revolution Samba ADV arrives in an indigo and red colourway, with Orchard’s name inscribed atop the serrated Three Stripes and New England Revolution’s logo appearing alongside the adidas Trefoil on the tongue. Built from synthetic leather and suede, the silhouette is equipped with ADV skate performance features to handle the board’s demands.
The accompanying Orchard x New England Revolution Jersey is constructed with recycled polyester and takes on a long sleeve design, matching the Samba’s indigo and red colouring. Orchard and New England Revolution branding appear prominently on the front.
