Combining the worlds of football and fashion in signature style, The Surgeon has created a one-of-one Maison Mihara Yasuhiro meets adidas Predator sole-swapped sneaker.
Dipping back into the world of football-meets-fashion, The Surgeon has created another amalgamation, and it once again uses the adidas Predator. The Surgeon, aka Dominic Ciambrone, clearly has a soft spot for the Predator, boasting a strong back catalogue with the iconic boot, from combining the Mania upper with a Balenciaga sneaker outsole, to more recently creating a custom Predator turf boot for Kaka. And now he’s back at it again, combining the current Predator 24 upper with a Maison Mihara Yasuhiro outsole.
For this most recent Predator project, The Surgeon took the crisp white upper of the Pearlised Pack edition of the boot (identifiable by the silver accents on the branding) and mounted it on the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Baker OG Sole Low Sneaker’s signature outsole. The look is then finished off with a customised and handcrafted version of the Predator's signature fold-over tongue, utilising a patent python exotic seen on the boot created for Kaka and Kellyn Acosta.
