Grass Roots Football Live Show - Competition winner - 23/06/09
The SoccerBible joined our friends at Pro Direct Soccer for a day out at the Grass Roots Football Live Show. An event which encapsulated all things football, right through from brand new products on the market to extensive training with the professionals, with a lot of fun thrown in for good measure!

During The Grass Roots Football Live Show we experienced a host of exciting activities and met some true professionals of the game, we couldn't believe how much was packed into one arena! |

A host of football legends including Franco Baresi, Paul Merson, Dennis Irwin and Ian Holloway(!) were on hand to inspire, with coaching events and advice about the beautiful game.
There were also plenty of activities to get involved with to test your skills, including the Crossbar challenge, Pro Direct Soccer's Mercurial speed test, and Billy Wingrove's skill school. Along with a few laughs provided by The Grass Roots 5-a-side football team, featuring ex-Premier League stars Ray Parlour and Neville Southall!
