      Brazilian superstar Kaka has been officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player, and the creative player has opted to wear the number '8' football shirt    

   

                                             

 Following his £56million transfer from AC Milan, Kaka was unveiled as a Real Madrid player in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. With thousands of fans filling the stands for their first look at the Brazilian superstar.

After officially being unveiled Kaka said: "Thank you very much, President and good evening to all Madridistas. I am very happy because this new stage of my career is with Real Madrid. I want to see my name written among the annals of club history through many victories and conquests. victorias y conquistas. Hala Madrid!"

Interestingly, Kaka was wearing a unique pair of white/black adidas adiPure II football boots featuring a white collar, to match his new Real Madrid football shirt.

For the 2009/10 season Real Madrid will be wearing a new football kit, and the new Real Madrid home shirt both Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo will be donning has some interesting new features.
         
           
                         
         

   

      New signing Kaka will be aiming to bring more glory to one of the most successful clubs in world football, and will join an illustrious list of former and current Real Madrid players including Di Stefano, Zidane, Sanchez, Beckham, Figo and Raul.
