- Manchester City have struck a deal with Arsenal to sign Kolo Toure for £15million, with City doubling his wages.  Toure's departure will spark a defender merry-go-round, with Joleon Lescott also moving to City, Tottenham's Alan Hutton and City's Nedum Onuoha joining Everton, and Fulham's Brede Hangeland moving to Arsenal.
