Boot Spotting - Nike CTR360 Debut Special!

Boot Spotting - Nike CTR360 Debut Special!

The Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots made a big impact on football pitches around the globe this weekend! There was a host of top stars all choosing to wear Nike's innovative new football boots.

Ahead of the big launch, Nike took their brand new football boots to bootrooms around the world, to give players the chance to test the new boots. And if the players liked them, it would be their choice whether to play in them. So, it must have been pleasing for Nike to see the response they got, as top players from around the globe took to the pitch wearing the new Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots...

CESC FABREGAS

A coincidence that Fabregas plays in the CTR360 Maestri football boots for the first time, and he scores a great goal and assists another four?! Fabregas was in awesome form wearing his new boots, taking control of the game with exceptional passing and distribution.

MARIO BALOTELLI

Balotelli was spotted wearing the white/black versions, as he played for Inter Milan as they defeated Udinese to retain their place at the top of Serie A. If these boots were a player, Balotelli is great an example of the boots versatility, because he is strong, powerful and uses his pace to his advantage.

JAVIER MASCHERANO

Javier Mascherano joined team-mate Lucas (previously a Vapor wearer) in the Liverpool midfield wearing the CTR360 Maestri football boots. Usually we'd see Mascherano in the Nike Laser football boots, but he clearly feels his new boots will support his tough-tackling and ball distribution play.

SERGIO

Sergio
joined key Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots wearer Andres Iniesta in a victorious Barcelona midfield. A tribute indeed to the new boots and their features, assisting players quick ball control and passing in a side that moves the ball around quickly with great vision and one-touch play.

FLORENT MALOUDA

Scoring a goal is a great endorsement of a new boot, and Florent Malouda duly delivered. The Chelsea winger, who we are used to seeing wearing a Nike Legend boot, arrived in the penalty box and with one convincing touch, struck the ball into the back of the net.

ALEXANDRE SONG

Song has become the backbone of the Arsenal midfield, his ability to break up an opposing attack and move the ball forward to Fabregas and the forward players is key. And it was an assured performance from Song wearing his new boots, as he delivered the ball quickly and directly to his team-mates.

SULLEY MUNTARI

Muntari is a creative midfielder who loves a shot, and as he's previously been wearing old Nike Supremacy football boots, he's clearly been unable to find a pair of boots suitable for his game. But as he was given the chance to test Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots weeks in advance, Muntari was clearly impressed with the feel and was confident to perform for Inter Milan on the boots debut.

CHRIS GREENACRE

Chris Greenacre plays for Wellington Phoenix in the A-league, and due to the time difference was probably one of the first players to competitively wear Nike's new football boots! But this is a true example of the global appeal of the new Nike football boots. Greenacre is a striker who has to control the ball off a hard playing surface, and move it quickly as he would be surrounded by defenders.

The launch of the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots was a big event, but of course we've just picked out our favourites from the opening weekend. Did YOU spot any CTR360 convertees? If so, become one of our boot spotters and tell us who you've spied...
