SoccerBible Debate - Race for Fourth?

SoccerBible Debate - Race for Fourth?

The race for fourth spot in the Premier League is really hotting up between Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Aston Villa, but who do YOU think will claim the much coveted final Champions League place?

With around ten games and thirty points available, the battle to claim the fourth spot in the Premier League looks set to go down to the last few matches. None of the teams appear to be buckling under the pressure, yet nobody has been able to forge a lead!

As the season draws to a close, will it be Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa or Tottenham Hotspur who cement the fourth spot? Which team has the better squad, the easier run-in and the most confidence? Here are the views of just some of the people involved, then we'd love to hear what YOU think...

NIGEL DE JONG (Manchester City midfielder) - "We have a good chance, it's going to be a tight race at the end. Everybody goes for fourth place of course but I think we can do it."

MARTIN O'NEILL (Aston Villa manager) - "'I think we are still in the race. I'm just delighted that we are even being considered and we are still there with it and we've got things to look forward to."

MICHAEL DAWSON (Tottenham defender) - "It will go down to the last day because there are so many teams in there, and we are all in with a shout."

RYAN BABEL (Liverpool forward) - "We definitely still have faith we can get fourth place. It will be harder and it's important to get three points in every game."

Can Liverpool claim the place they feel should rightfully be theirs, or will the so-called top four be broken - will it be the money men of Manchester City, the hard work of Tottenham Hotspur or the passion of Aston Villa?

Who do YOU think will finish fourth in the Premier League and claim the final Champions League place?
