Umbro NeoPro FA Cup Final 2010 Football
Kicking off today's 129th FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Portsmouth is the new NeoPro Match Football from Umbro, built to provide a truer flight than any of its predecessors.
The new NeoPro is produced and cut using laser technology, which provides greater grip when you hit the ball, and a smoother flight through the air as it flies towards goal. It s also made from larger panels than most other balls - 14 panels in total go into the NeoPro - offering cleaner strike zones for you to wrap your feet around.
The design of the ball also features irregular geometric shapes and uses vivid colours to aid a player s vision. The materials used for construction are also a lot softer, ideal for giving better touch and control. Next season, you ll also see plenty of teams getting the most of the ball as it will be used in the FA Cup from the second round onwards.
There will also be a similarly designed "Hi Vis" version for those inevitable wet, dark FA Cup replay night matches too!
The new Umbro NeoPro Football will be available from 1st June, will an retail price of around £60 GBP / $88 USD
