adizero Update - Nani & Dani Alves
This week the football boots world was served two big shocks, as Nike Vapor stalwarts Nani and Dani Alves switched allegiance to a rival boot - the adidas F50 adizero. Our exclusive SoccerBible pictures show Dani Alves is continuing to wear the adidas F50 adizero football boots. To be honest Alves has been wearing the boots for a while, as our interview with team-mate Lionel Messi revealed, but up until now Alves was wearing blacked out pairs. Interestingly, a close-up look at the boots Alves is wearing for training, looks as though these are the original blacked-out pair he wore, but now the paint has worn off!
Nani caused a huge stir in the football boots world after he scored a sensational goal in adizero's at the weekend. After such an impressive debut performance it looks like Nani is sticking with the adizero, as our exclusive picture shows. Interestingly, unlike such players as Lionel Messi, David Villa and Arjen Robben, Nani is opting to wear the synthetic versions.
As a bonus boot spot, our SoccerBible boot spy snapped Barcelona striker Bojan in the latest Nike T90 Laser colourway, and also noticed Bojan is in the Elite versions which are yet to see a huge player uptake.
