adizero Leaves Vapor Behind!

We've watched on in awe again at another week of Champions League action, and it seems there's no hiding for Vapor fans as the F50 adizero leaves its speed opponent for dust...

It may make difficult reading for fans of the Mercurial range, but there's no hiding from the statistics, because when it comes to the Champions League the adidas adizero is the runaway performer!

The F50 speed series has always been able to count on the likes of Lionel Messi, David Villa and Arjen Robben to perform. But for this season's Champions League with the introduction of the adizero, such players as Gareth Bale and Michel Bastos are putting in great performances and have contributed to the 50 goals scored.

Compare that figure with the 39 goals scored by the Nike Mercurial range, and you're struggling to find an outstanding performer. You have to scroll down to find top Vapor goalscorers Marouane Chamakh and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on three goals a piece, and it has to be said that Cristiano Ronaldo has yet to set the tournament alight, although of course there's plenty of time yet!

Leading the chasing pack for the rival brands are the Puma v1 football boots, courtesy of 11 goals scored by just Samuel Eto'o and Mario Gomez. But the reality of the situation is that Nike and adidas have a majority stake in the Champions League Boot Race, and it will be interesting to see which brand comes out on top, as adidas football boots currently lead on 88 goals, compared to Nike football boot's 64 goals.

So, what reasons are there to be argued for the adizero's dominance...and what is the response from Vapor fans? Is the adizero a boot the Mercurial series just can't live with, or will the Vapors quality come through in the end?
