Cesc Fabregas made his return from injury to wear the brand new Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots, but was unable to help his team-mates overcome a resilient United side at Old Trafford.

It's no secret the Nike designers had Fabregas in mind when creating the new Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots, so it was great to finally see the Arsenal skipper in his new boots, which also seemed to open the floodgates for his team-mates to join him in Nike's latest control boot.

Interestingly, Fabregas wasn't in the standard CTR360 Maestri II sole-plate, as he wore his customised plate which features both bladed and rounded studs. Perhaps Fabregas' bespoke sole-plate is how he could get away with not wearing soft-ground studs on what was described as "a very bad pitch" by Arsene Wenger..

Fabregas was accompanied by fellow midfielders Alexander Song and Jack Wilshere in wearing the new Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots, and we can't wait to see all three players on the pitch in their new boots and the Arsenal home kit.
