FIFA Puskás Award 2010 - Who Should Win?

On 10 January 2011, FIFA will announce the winner of the Ballon d'Or along with the 2010 FIFA PuskÁs Award to one of this years 10 nominee's. Official voting has now closed but we thought we'd throw it out to our SoccerBible community to see who you think deserves the award...

The short-list for this years award consists of wonder-goals from Hamit Altintop, Arjen Robben, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Kumi Yokoyama, Linus Hallenius, Samir Nasri, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Matthew Burrows.

FIFA's top ten selection aims to offer every conceivable type of goal from solo efforts and long-range strikes to audacious lobs, unstoppable volleys and gravity-defying scissor-kicks.



Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo picked up the 2009 PuskÁs Award for the best goal of the 2008/09 season. It was his wonder-strike for Manchester United in the Champions League tie against Porto that earned him the award. His goal recieved 17.68% of the vote in the FIFA official poll. The winning goalscorer for the 2010 award will collect the prestigious trophy at the FIFA Ballon d Or Gala in Zurich on 10 January 2011. Don't worry if you missed the official voting deadline. You can still enjoy each goal and have your say on who you think deserves the trophy!
