adidas adizero F50 Carbon Shinpads - Black/Warning/White
To accompany the launch of the F50 adizero Prime football boots, adidas have released an update for their revolutionary F50 Carbon Shinpads, their lightest and most innovative shinpad to date.
Not content with revolutionising the football boots world, adidas are continuing to pioneer lightweight football products with these carbon fibre F50 adizero shin pads which weigh in at a mere 60g per pad!
The ultra-lightweight carbon-fibre shield ensures high performance and protection levels, and you can further reduce the weight of the pad by removing the central padding core. The pads can be worn loose, or slip into a compression sleeve, that has the dual function of supporting blood flow back to the centre of the body.
Much like the F50 versus Vapor battle, these adizero shinpads are in direct competition with the Mercurial Lightspeed shin pads, and although they are not as lightweight as the Lightspeed's they do appear to be a more robust option.
We'd guess these F50 adizero Shinpads are the ultimate accessory for any fan and wearer of the new adizero Primes, and you may just need them for when the tough tackles try to put a stop to your swift feet! This performance accessory is expected to be available from 1st February, but it does come at a price as they are expected to cost around £70 GBP / $100 USD.
