The black/circuit orange Nike Mercurial colourway looks like being a popular release, as plenty of Vapor players like Ibrahimovic were spotted in the latest Nike football boots. It also looks as though Ibrahimovic was sporting the original Superfly II sole-plate, and we also couldn't help but notice some interesting personalisation.

Before the European winter break, we spotted Dani Alves wearing his old Nike Superfly I football boots in place of his adidas adizero boots. We were interested to see that Alves has so far stuck to his latest boot choice as Barcelona took on Levante as La Liga returned to full action.

Barcelona's Bojan Krkic was one of many players who chose to update the colour-way of their Nike T90 Laser III Elite football boots as Barclona beat Levante to keep distance between themselves and Real Madrid at the top of La Liga. Bojan is one of the T90 wearers who chooses the Elite versions of the Nike boots.

A random pair of adidas Predator PowerSwerve football boots here, which feature a very bright and bold yellow colour-scheme and a stand-out white heel counter. These adidas football boots are worn by Hassan Ali of Al Ahli, who struck a spectacular volley that went in off the cross bar against AC Milan in the Emirates Challenge Cup final.

Despite being a majority black boot, West Ham's Mark Noble showed again how tte electric green pods stand-out on the new Nike T90 Laser III football boots. Although due to the boots being all black, we can't see whether the midfielder is sporting the Elite versions or the standard as Noble is one of the players to previously opt for the Elites.

Kaka made his long awaited return to the Real Madrid side after knee surgery following the World Cup. As expected, Kaka was wearing the new adiPURE IV White/Blue football boots with a SG sole-plate as he came off the bench to mark his comeback.

Robinho is still sporting his blacked out adizero football boots and was spotted at the weekend during AC Milans Emirates Challenge Cup football match in Dubai. It will be interesting to see if he takes to the new adizeros or Prime boots when they begin to hit pitches. There's also a bonus boot spot here with the Al-Ahli player spotted wearing a pair of Nike Air Zoom Total 90 II boots.

Everton defender Sylvain Distin spotted in a customised pair of adidas adizero football boots as Everton took on Stoke at the weekend. It looks like Distin has given his White/Pink adizero boots the black marker treatment, blacking out the Pink stripes and tongue.

Espanyol defender Javier Chica was another player spotted wearing the latest colour-way of the Nike T90 Laser III football boots. Espanyol failed to overcome Valencia as they took all three points winning 2-1 at the Mestalla stadium.
