Nike CTR360 II Launch Day
Yesterday marked the official launch of the new Nike CTR360 II football boots! To celebrate the event, Nike invited SoccerBible to the exclusive launch event in London! The day involved a visit to Arsenal's impressive Colney training ground along with a special Q A at Nike Town with two of the CTR's main players; Jack Wilshere and Rafael van der Vaart...

The day kicked off with us all being presented with our own pair of CTR boots (not a bad way to start the day). Nike were also good enough to kit us out in some new Nike training apparel.
Nike had lined up a set of training exercises that would put our new boots to the test.
The training took place inside Arsenal's Colney training ground just outside of London. The indoor complex was impressive to say the least!
There were three Nike trainers waiting for us inside, ready to explain the control exercises they had lined up for us. After being hugely impressed by the original CTR boots, we knew the new ones weren't going to disappoint!
Each training exercise was specific to control and distribution. Nike wanted us to feel the benefits of the new CTR360 boots.
As soon as we put on our new pair of CTR boots we knew they were the real deal! They fitted like a glove and were extremely comfortable from the off. After the training was complete it was straight onto the coach to hit NikeTown for the interviews!
The interviews were staged to take place inside the Nike Boot Room just outside the Nike ID Design studio! We managed to get a few snaps of some custom Nike ID boots while we were waiting!
Before we knew it we were being introduced to Jack Wilshere and Rafael van der Vaart! The two sat down ready for questions on their new boots.
They spoke about everything from why they choose the boot to what hopes they have for the remainder of the season. Be sure to stayed tuned for the full interview on SoccerBible!
They were joined by competition winners who had the opportunity to share the stage with the players!
