Ahead of the international friendly against Brasil, SoccerBible caught up with France and Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby to hear his thoughts on debuting the new Nike FFF football jersey, the form of team-mate Samir Nasri, and what he thinks of Arsenal's prospects in both the Premier League and Champions League...

SoccerBible: What do you think of the new French football shirt that Nike have designed? Abou Diaby: I think it's very nice and I'm proud to wear it. It feels very smooth as well, so it's nice to play with a comfortable shirt because that is important for performance. SB: It's fair to say you're a fan of Nike products then?

AB: Yes that's why I wear them, I like Nike football products not just for performance but everyone goes out wearing them.

SB: Yourself, Fabregas, Wilshere and Song all wear the same boots, does this mean the Nike CTR360 is the best boot for a midfielder?

AD: I think so yes! It's the best boot for all of us to play well and control the game, which is why we all wear it. Personally, I choose this boot because I feel really comfortable and I wouldn't want to change it.

SB: Why do you think the Premier League appeals to French players? AD: I think because it's one of the best leagues in the world and is so exciting, a lot of players watch the games during the day. It's one of the most attractive leagues, so that's why a lot of Frenchmen would like to play in this league. SB: Are you confident that Arsenal can win the Premier League?

AD: Yes of course, I think we've got the players to win the Premier League. In our squad we've got everything you need to win this league, so why not?!

SB: Have you been impressed with how Samir Nasri has played this season?

AD: I think he's the best player in our side at the moment, what he's done so far is amazing! Hopefully he can keep going, keep the same level and we can win the title.

SB: What's the best piece of advice Arsene Wenger has given you? AD: To be the best every single day, train hard and be the best every single day. SB: Are you looking forward to playing Barcelona again, and do you think you can beat them? AD: Yes of course, we are confident. We know that Barcelona is a great team, and that they've got the best player in the world, but we also have great players. It's going to be a very good game. Abou Diaby will be hoping to debut the brand new FFF Football Shirt, which has been created by Nike for the first time ever, as France face Brasil for the international friendly at Stade de France on 9th Feb.
