Football Boots Spotting - 21/02/11

Check out the players and boots to make our weekly SoccerBible boots-spotting! This week there were some unexpected new boots on show, along with some players mixing up their foot-wear! Take a look at what boots from across the world are featured in our latest boots-spotting...

Emmanuel Adebayor (Real Madrid) adidas F50 adiZero

We're not sure if adidas sanctioned this but Emmanuel Adebayor was seen wearing the new adiZero colour-way for Real Madrid at the weekend. The new boots are due for release later this month but the Togo striker didn't want to wait any longer to get into the new adiZero's! Stay tuned for our exclusive unveiling of the boots later this week!

Dani Alves (Barcelona) adidas F50 adiZero

Dani Alves was sporting the same original adiZero football boots that he was seen wearing during their mid-week clash with Arsenal. It seems the Brazilian just can't make up his mind. For the time being, he's settled on the adiZero's but still likes to mix it up between the originals and the Prime's!

Makoto Hasebe (Wolfsburg) Puma PowerCat J

Wolfsburg's Makoto Hasebe was spotted wearing the Japan exclusive white/red PowerCat J football boots during the Bundesliga match between SC Freiburg and Wolfsburg.

Anders Lindegaard (Manchester United) Nike Mercurial Superfly II

Manchester United keeper Andres Lindergaard was spotted wearing a custom SG sole-plated pair of Nike Superfly II football boots during Manchester United's FA Cup game against Crawley Town. It was an unexpected spot as he has previously been spotted wearing Nike Legends in training.

Gigi Buffon (Juventus) Puma PowerCat

Maybe Gigi Buffon was getting a bit of stick from his team-mates for wearing both the Tokyo PowerCats and the Tokyo goal-keeper gloves! The Italian shot-stopper, who has been wearing the new Puma Tokyo products since there release, was seen wearing the more subtle black PowerCats along with a new pair of Puma gloves.

Francesco Totti (AS Roma) Nike Tiempo Legend III

For the past year Totti has been wearing blacked-out adidas PowerSwerve football boots due to contract disagreements with Diadora. Now it looks like the Roma player has switched to a pair of blacked-out Nike Tiempo Legend boots.

Marvin Angulo (Victory) Puma v1.10

A great shot of Marvin Angulo's Fluorescent Orange Puma v1.10 football boots during Melbourne Victory's 2nd elimination final match against Gold Coast Untied.

Xavier Baez (Guadalajara) Concord

A good spot from the Mexican Soccer League here with Guadalajara player Xavier Baez spotted in a pair of Concord football boots. The Mexican brand is popular with Mexican soccer players but is rarely seen in European leagues.

Jano Ananidze (FC Basel) Nike Mercurial Superfly II

Spartak Moscow's midfielder Jano Ananidze was spotted in a pair of blacked-out Nike Superfly II football boots featuring Nike (RED) laces, during their Europa league football match against Basel.

Ricardo Carvalho (Real Madrid) adidas Predator X Champions League

Ricardo Carvalho sealed Madrid's victory over Levante at the weekend with a first half goal that saw Mourinho's incredible unbeaten home run reach 9 years! Carvalho was spotted wearing the adidas Predator X Champions League football boots ahead of their Champions League game with Lyon.

Georgie Wilson (Monaco) Nike Mercurial Superfly II Windchill

Monaco forward Georgie Wilson was spotted in a pair of Nike Superfly II Windchill football boots during their match against Monaco. You might have noticed Wilson has changed from the default white laces to black laces. There is another bonus boot-spot here, with Brest midfielder Oscar Ewolo spotted in a pair of AZT90 III football boots.

Kris Commons (Celtic) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Kris Commons has been spotted in a few different boots recently. Previously an Umbro Stealth wearer, Commons then made the switch to adiZero's for Scotland's latest International friendly. Now the Celtic man has made the switch to the popular Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots!

Didier Ya Konan (Hannover 96) Puma v1.10

Didier Ya Konan of Hannover 96 spotted in a personalised pair of SG Fluorescent Orange Puma v1.10 football boots during their Bundesliga match against FC Kaiserlautern.

Gary Hooper (Celtic) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Gary Hooper has made the switch from Umbro GT Pro football boots to the new Nike CTR360 Maestri II boots. Shout out to @thereal_JG7 on Twitter for this spot who noticed Hooper's boot change during the Old Firm match at the weekend.
