Peter Crouch Just Play Video
England and Tottenham player Peter Crouch joined in a local game of football, to help rejuvenate a football facility in Yorkshire as part of the "Just Play" programme a joint venture between The FA and Mars.
Crouch was participating in the The FA and Mars "Just Play" programme , which aims to arrest the decline in adult football. The partnership is aiming to get 150,000 new participants playing the game for at least 30 minutes a week by September 2013, and deliver a total of 3.9m hours of extra football played each year throughout England.
Crouchy was happy to get involved with the local football team and show his skills on the pitch, the only worry he had was about being shown up by the locals! But it's a great event and a great idea to get more adults involved with the beautiful game.
