After being announced as Mizuno's latest football ambassador, Inter Milan star and recently capped Italian international Thiago Motta, put his new Supersonic football boots on and hit the San Siro pitch to answer a few questions for the SoccerBible...>

SB: You've worn Mizuno boots throughout your career, why are Mizuno football boots perfect for you?

TM: I always worn Mizuno because they are super comfortable, it is the most important thing. I remember when I wore them for the first time. The fit and feeling whilst playing in Mizuno boots is impossible to match.

SB: When do you first remember wearing Mizuno?

TM: I wore them for the first time when I was growing up in Brazil, Mizuno is a kind of shoe that when you first try it, you never want to change it.

SB: What were your thoughts when you first saw and tried on the new Supersonic boots? TM: Supersonic is like all the Mizuno boots, it is really comfortable, the leather is very soft, when you enter the field you feel the control of the ball the touch is easier then it's so light that you feel.   SB: Have you kept any memorable pairs of boots? TM: When I was at Barcelona as a youngster Rivaldo brought me a pair of the white Wave Cup Rivaldo, I remember playing at the San Siro against Inter Milan in these boots. It was a special gift from someone I admired a lot. Those are kept in a safe place at home!   SB: You've signed quite a unique deal with Mizuno?

TM: It is a unique partnership with myself and Mizuno. We wanted to contribute something to the Ana Moser Institute, I'm very pleased to be a part of it the product that Mizuno supply will be put to use by the people that need it most.

SB: What's the best piece of advice you've been given in your career?

TM: Somebody said to me once - Enjoy every minute of your career, don't take it for granted even through the tough times. It made me appreciate how fortunate I am to be involved in the sport I love.
