adidas UCL Finale Wembley Launch - Behind the Scenes
Yesterday SoccerBible were invited to the official launch of the adidas UCL Finale Wembley football at Wembley Stadium in London. Adidas had organized a highly exclusive media event, centred around the new adidas Finale Wembley ball that will be used in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium in May....

On a freezing cold Thursday afternoon in West London, adidas had brought along two of their key London-based players. Samir Nasri and Salomon Kalou arrived at the event to help promote the new adidas football. Also on hand, was the official Champions League Trophy that arrived surrounded by security guards in a padlocked case!
One of the most prestigious trophy's in world football gleamed in the London sun as it took its place in front of the towering Wembley Stadium. You couldn't help wonder what teams would be fighting for this trophy when the world turns its attention to Wembley Stadium on May 28th!
Fresh from their respective morning training sessions with Arsenal and Chelsea, Samir Nasri and Salomon Kalou both arrived equipped head to toe in new adidas F50 gear! With huge attention still surrounding the new adiZero Prime football boots, it was no coincidence that both players were Prime wearers!
The players took their places in front of the Champions League trophy with the new adidas Finale Wembley ball in hand as they posed for pictures. Both players will be dreaming of retuning to Wembley for the Champions League Final and even they couldn't help themselves from touching the trophy!
Also at the event were UEFA executives who played their part in the promotional event by posing for pictures alongside Kalou and Nasri. With the iconic Wembley arch in the background, this really was the perfect setting for the launch of adidas' latest Champions League Final football.
After the outside photo session, we made our way inside to one of the many press conference rooms throughout Wembley Stadium. The new adidas Finale Wembley ball sat alongside the Champions League trophy as we waited for Nasri and Kalou to enter the press room.
The tournaments 2nd leg round of 16 matches are being played next week, and both players were fired questions on their upcoming fixtures. With Nasri and Arsenal facing a tough match at the Nou Camp on Tuesday, Nasri spoke of his teams chances as they prepare to face the best team on the planet.
