Head to Heads 18/03/11 - Biggest Matches, Biggest Players

After a massively exciting week of new football boots, all eyes will be on the feet of some of the biggest players in the world at the weekend. Attention will turn to the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night for the Madrid derby as the Superfly III will make it's official on-pitch arrival!

We've picked out two players from each match that could be key for either side and of course, we take a quick look at what boots each player will be stepping out onto the pitch in...

What a game this should be! Nike have told us that they will use the one of the great local derby's to officially mark the arrival of the new Nike Superfly III football boots! All eyes will be on CR7 and his new boots. Atletico seem incapable of beating Real Madrid but with players such as Aguero and Forlan in the side, goals are always a threat! Despite this, Atletico are a team in disarray and will struggle steal any points off Real.

Boot-spotters could be in for a real treat with this game. Both sides have a high number of Mercurial wearers. We're not sure how many will make the switch to the new Superfly III boots. Our contacts at Nike have assured us that two of their biggest names, Mesut Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo, will wear the new Superfly III - any others such as Reyes and Aguero will be a bonus!

We recently reported images of Chelsea's Didier Drogba training in his new Nike Superfly III football boots. Drogba is always unpredictable with his boot's but a debut appearance for the Superfly III boots at Stamford Bridge could well be on the cards! Looking to cause the Chelsea defence problems will be Edin Dzeko who will relish the challenge on the big stage! It's a clash of two Premier League heavy-weights as Chelsea go to battle against rivals Manchester City.

Surely it's only a matter of time before Fernando Torres scores that all important first goal for Chelsea. If he's going to officially announce his arrival at Stamford Bridge with his first goal in a blue shirt, he couldn't have asked for a bigger game! This is a battle of the big spenders as Chelsea look to have one last push for the Premier League title. In September Carlos TÉvez scored the only goal of the game at the City of Manchester Stadium, their third win in three games against Chelsea. Once again, the Argentine could be the deciding factor in this heavy-weight clash!

Javier Hernandez is starting to look like a steal! Just £8million was enough to bring the Mexican goal machine to Old Trafford and he is becoming a local hero already. The Nike Legend wearer has bagged 16 goals in his first season for United. The Manchester club are still battling on three fronts this season but can't take their eyes off the Premier League! A tough game against Bolton is their next challenge who have a returning Daniel Sturridge to the side!

It's been a disappointing week for the Serie A leaders. They only managed a point against bottom of the league Bari which was then followed by a poor showing in the Champions League. Milan will be without star striker Ibrahimovic but have a wealth of talent at their disposal in Alexandre Pato. Palermo have one of the hottest young talents in world football. The young attacking midfielder, Javier Pastore, is on the wanted list of some of the biggest clubs in the world. Both players could be in line to debut the new Mercurial football boots!

When it comes to games like this, everyone has an opinion and we'd love to hear yours. Have your say and join the conversations with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
