Nike CR Superfly III football boots debut in Madrid

Nike CR Superfly III football boots debut in Madrid

It was a tale of two penalties as Cristiano Ronaldo debuted his new CR Superfly III boots in Madrid. Ronaldo's late penalty meant that a 10-man Real Madrid side rescued a psychologically important point against the Spanish champions.

For boot fans though, this match was all about CR7's new Superfly's! Ronaldo's new signature boots took centre stage as the world's attention locked onto the Spanish capital. In typical Ronaldo style, Nike's Mercurial man stole the boot spotlight wearing his new stand-out black/volt boots!

Ronaldo's spot kick ended his long-running goal drought against adidas rival Lionel Messi. Prior to the match, Ronaldo had yet to score against Messi at club level. Victor Valdes' post prevented Ronaldo's new Superfly's from having the perfect debut after a trademark 49th minute free-kick smashed against the woodwork.

Ronaldo's new CR Superfly III boots will go up against Madrid's fiercest rivals another three times this season! With a Copa del Rey final and a Champions League semi-final to contest, the stage is set for Ronaldo's new boots.
