A Clasico encounter like never before as two cities collide in one of the most anticipated matches in Spanish Champions League history. Real Madrid and Barcelona will meet for the third time in 11 days tonight as the world's eyes descend on Madrid.

The Bernabeu will host the first leg of the Champions League semi-final El Clasico which has all the ingredients to live up to the hype surrounding the match. Two giants of world football will go head to head as individual battles commence. It will be an adidas and Nike battlefield tonight, as some of the brands biggest assets clash for supremacy.

What more can be said about Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi? With two goals in the last two meetings, Ronaldo has shown that he is well an truly over his El Clasico jinx. For Los Cules, no man poses a greater threat at the Bernabue than Messi. With four goals, he has scored more at the Bernabeu than any other player in Barcelona history.

Both sides have an overwhelming wealth of attacking talent. Real Madrid's 22  year old German play-maker has arguably been Madrid's player of the season. Ozil's dynamism and attacking creativity has been crucial to Madrid's success. David Villa's goal against Osasuna couldn't have come at a better time. With his confidence back, the World Cup winner will relish another opportunity against Real Madrid's defence.

Emmanuel Adebayor has enjoyed new found success at Real Madrid since his move in the January transfer window. The Togo international and adiZero Prime wearer can cause problems to any defence with his aerial threat. Straight off the La Masia conveyor belt, Pedro has established himself as one of Barcelona's biggest attacking threats. After another impressive season, the Superfly wearer is never far away from finding the net.

Angel di Maria has been massively influential in Madrid's success this season. Along with a string of impressive performances, the young Argentine provided the assist for Cristiano Ronaldo's winning goal in the Copa del Rey final. The goal was a direct result of Alves being caught out of position by di Maria. The Brazilian will have to carefully balance his attacking and defensive duties tonight as he looks to provide width on the break.

Two leaders. Two of the greatest mid-fielders in the game. Xabi Alonso and Xavi will be central to either sides success tonight. Xavi will be without midfield partner Andres Iniesta who has been ruled out through injury while Khedira's place in Madrid's starting line up is likely to be taken by Lassana Diarra. The midfield battle could decide the match, with both players looking to control the pace of the game early on.
