The biggest tournament in Women s Soccer is just around the corner. Ahead of the sixth-ever Women s World Cup in Germany this June, the US Women s Soccer Team paid its first visit to London in preparation for a warm-up friendly against England.

At an exclusive NikeID event in NikeTown London, US stars Hope Solo and Carli Lloyd were joined by England's Faye White and Ellen White to chat to SoccerBible about their busy upcoming summer!

Surrounded by four walls of NikeID shoes, we sat down to chat to the girls. Naturally, we had to speak to the players about their football boots! We asked each girl what football boots they are currently wearing and will be taking to the World Cup in Germany this summer.

HS: I wear Nike CTR360 Maestri II boots with hybrid studs. I have my family name added too to help inspire me. It s just as important for a goalkeeper to wear the right boots.

SB: Who are your favourite players in the men s game?

HS: Messi is the best player in the world, hands down. Clint Dempsey is a hero to me too, he s as intense as can be. Robert Green is a hero in the US too because of the South Africa World Cup!

CL: I used to wear Mercurial Vapors before the CTR 360 was released. The CTR goes back to traditional, soft, kangaroo leather. It s not too heavy and its comfortable. The vapors are super-thin so you can feel the ball through the boots. The CTR 360 helps more with your first touch.

SB: Which players do you enjoy watching?

CL: I am a huge fan of Barcelona, they are on another planet when it comes to soccer. Xavi is an unbelievable playmaker - the amount of passes he completes. Messi is right at the top too.

FW: I wear Nike T90 Lasers. They are quite wide which fits the shape of my foot well. As a defender you get your feet stamped on quite a lot and have to make block tackles. I find the Lasers are a durable boot that suits my role.

SB: What are your expectations for the World Cup in Germany this summer?

FW: As a team, we want to improve and go further than we have before. We are in a good position, we have some great young players who have come through and made the squad stronger.

EW: I wear Nike Tiempo Legends. I have recently recovered from a knee injury and they are very comfortable, which is the most important quality for me.

SB: Do you remember your first pair of boots?

EW: They were bright red, I played for Arsenal youth teams and I wanted boots to go with that kit. Nowadays, I normally go for quite plain boots, like white to match the England strip.
