adidas Launch Liverpool 11/12 Away Kit on Streets of Dublin

The streets of Dublin played host to the official launch of the new Liverpool 11/12 Away Kit today as Kop stars Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Luis Suarez descended on the Irish capital. Dublin became Liverpool's 'Home Away from Home' for the day as adidas supplied a replica of the famous Shankly Gates along with dugouts and road signs! It was a day to remember for Irish Liverpool fans who were able to witness their heroes on their home streets.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard was joined by fan favourites Luis Suarez and Dirk Kuyt to present the new adidas Liverpool 11/12 Away Kit. Just months after joining the club, Liverpool new-boy Luis Suarez has instantly become one of the key figures of a re-emerging Liverpool side. Liverpool fans will be hoping the Uruguay striker will continue his great run of form into next season as they look to once again challenge for England's top honours.

Unsurprisingly, our attention couldn't be diverted from the football boots on show. The media opportunity wasn't used as a stage for the upcoming adiPower Predator football boots with both Kuyt and Gerrard still wearing their respective Predators. Luis Suarez was seen wearing the White/Pink/Cyan leather adiZero's that he has only worn once in competitive action for the reds.

The new Liverpool Football Club Away kit for the 2011/12 season takes its design inspiration from metallic elements. Solid grey in colour, the shirt is finished with metallic silver detailing on the iconic adidas 3 stripes across the shoulders, both sponsors logo s and the laser cut woven crest. These elements combined create a modern, stylish and distinctive look.

The new Liverpool Away jersey 2011/12 is available to order now from selected retailers. Expect to pay around £50 GBP / $80 USD / €60 EURO to show your support.
