SoccerBible at Champions League Final 'Nike Space'

Reporting direct from Wembley London, SoccerBible can bring you all the behind the scenes action from the official Champions League Final 'Nike Space.' An exclusive media zone where you'll find legends of the game as they gather for the biggest soccer show on Earth!

SoccerBible were on hand to bring the days events to you! In one of the coolest areas around Wembley, we were joined by Manchester United legends Bryan Robson, Andy Cole and Dennis Irwin! Check out what they had to say on the big match and hear their opinions on today's modern football boots!

The longest serving club captain in Manchester United history, Bryan Robson knows what it takes to beat the best. Talking to SoccerBible, the United legend explained what he expects from his former side in the final.

BR: ''If you stand off them like United did two years ago and allow them to get into a rhythm I think they're the best team in the world at doing that. United will have to work very hard at closing them down and stop them getting into that rhythm. If they do that, United can win the game.''

With both Wayne Rooney and Andres Iniesta's CL Final boots in attendance, we had to ask 'Robbo' what he thinks of today's soccer shoes!

BR: ''I think football boots are a lot lighter and brighter than they were when I was playing. There was a lot of sand on the pitch when I played which would have ruined the lightweight boots. But I'll always stick to the traditional black   white boots! If you're going to wear boots that are really bright you've got to be a great player!''

A Manchester United star of a different generation, Andy Cole had six years with United that saw him become a goal scoring legend. With excitement building around the young Javier Hernandez, Cole gave SoccerBible his thoughts on United's newest striker partnership...and of course football boots!

AC: ''What's so exciting is that Rooney and Hernandez' partnership is at its early stages. It's in its infancy at the moment. Hernandez has no fear and rightly so. He always plays with a big smile on his face and has been a breath of fresh air to the Premier League. I think Barcelona will be worried about him.''

AC: ''I'm very traditional with my football boots. White boots in training...that was about it for me. But the game has moved on and everyone is wearing colored boots. It's part of the show-business that football is. I think you have to play in the first team before you wear colorful boots.''

SoccerBible also caught up with Manchester United's ''Mr. Consistent''. Dennis Irwin has been hailed as one of Sir Alex Ferguson's best signings and was part of the '99 Champions League winning side. Now he hopes this United side can heal the wounds of two years ago.

DI: ''It hurt the manager and the fans losing 2-0 last time. Barcelona were much the better side on the night. But even Barca have improved since then. The 5-0 win over Real Madrid is the best team performance you're ever going to see. Messi is two years older now and scores more goals. Villa and Pedro also give them great variation.''

Being a defender, you'd expect the ex-United full back to have a more traditional view on soccer footwear. But even he could see himself in a bright pair of boots!

DI: ''In my day, we wore black boots, simple as that. As a defender I don't think I could have worn anything else other than black boots. But Paul Scholes once said that and now you cant get him out of white boots! I'm a boot traditionalist at heart. If I was playing nowadays though I probably be in orange boots!''

As we explored the exclusive 'Nike Space' that was decorated in a classy Champions League theme, we came across Wayne Rooney and Andres Iniesta's Champions League Final boots! A personalised pair of Nike T90 Laser III Elite's for the United striker and a personalised pair of CTR360 Elite's for Barca's midfield maestro!

The 'Nike Space' was kitted out with super-cool Champions League memorabilia that included a one-of-a-kind presentation box of the two finalists replica shirts! SoccerBible will be bringing you a full feature of this ultimate collectors piece that was one of the talking points of the day!

As the event came to a close, all thoughts turned to match day! More players are expected to pass through the 'Nike Space' doors and SoccerBible will be your only stop for exclusive behind-the-scenes access! Stay tuned for more info and interviews to come!
