Pablo Barrera (Mexico) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

Pablo Barrera was in excellent goal scoring form wearing his new Nike boots. The West Ham winger scored twice wearing his new Granite/Purple/White/RedNike Mercurial Superfly III football boots as Mexico came from behind to claim their second consecutive Concacaf Gold Cup, beating the USA 4-2.

 

Fatmire Bajramaj (Germany) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

German midfielder Fatmire Bajramaj spotted in a unique pair of white/purple Nike Superfly III  boots as Germany beat Canada 2-1 in their WWC Group A match. It was Bajramaj's first competitive performance in the striking boots, having previously worn the Purple/Volt SFIII.   

 

Alejandro Bedoya (United States) Puma v1.11

American winger Alejandro Bedoya has had a superb Gold Cup, becoming one of the breakout players of this summers tournament. Bedoya has put in consistently impressive performances in his Puma v1.11 speed boots, but couldn't help the USA to Gold Cup glory in the final. 

 

Arturo Gonzalez (Mexico U17) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Mexico's Arturo Gonzalez in action wearing his personalised black/white/red Nike CTR360 Maestri II football boots as his national side beat Holland 3-2 in the U17 World Cup. Nike's new control boots are taking the tournament by storm, with some of the worlds best youngsters wearing the boots.

 

Christian Lell (Hertha BSC) Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite

New season, new boots for Christian Lell! The German defender turned up for Hertha BSC Berlin's first training session of the season with a new pair of Tiempo IV Elite boots along with his trusted white/volt Legend III's.    

 

Erin McLeod (Canada) adidas adiZero RS7

Canadian shot-stopper Erin McLeod spotted in a pair of adidas adiZero RS7 rugby boots as her side took on Germany in the Women's World Cup. It's an unusual boot choice for any soccer player, let alone a women's goalkeeper!   

 

Michael Stephens (LA Galaxy) adidas adiPURE IV

LA Galaxy midfielder Michael Stephens spotted in the classic looking black/white/blue adiPURE IV football boots as his side took on the San Jose Earthquakes. We're sure we'll be seeing a lot more of these great looking heritage boots as we head into the new season.

 

Christine Sinclair (Canada) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

Canadian Women's captain Christine Sinclair scored a picture-perfect free kick wearing her personalised Superfly III football boots against Germany. Canada eventually crashed to an opening 2-1 defeat to Germany despite their captains fine efforts.    

 

Darvin Chavez (Mexico) Nike Mercurial Vapor VII

Mexico's Darvin Chavez represented the Vapor VII range this weekend wearing this Granite/Purple/White/RedNike Mercurial Vapor VII football boots against Ecuador. The friendly game ended 1-1 as both sides prepared for the upcoming Copa America tournament.

 

Tim Howard (United States) Nike Tiempo Legend IV

Disappointed goal keeper Tim Howard gave his new Tiempo IV Legend football boots a debut to forget this weekend. Even so, his new Nike heritage football boots looked great on pitch as he made the upgrade from his Legend III soccer shoes.       

 

Hugo Rodallega (Colombia) Nike Mercurial Superfly II ID

Never bank on Hugo Rodallega turning up in a normal pair of Nike football boots! The Columbian striker was spotted in an absurdly coloured pair of Superfly II ID soccer shoes as his side took on Senegal ahead of the 2011 Copa America.    

 

Clint Dempsey (United States) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

Another debut to forget for Clint Dempsey's new Granite/Purple/White/Red Superfly III football boots as the USA crashed to a 4-2 defeat in California. A capacity crowd witnessed a host of new Nike boots on show as Mexico claimed another Gold Cup victory.
