Manchester City Home 2011 - The Full Story of the Shirt





Manchester City's home shirt for the 2011/12 season is something very unique - here's Umbro designer David Blanch telling the full story of the ideas behind the new 11/12 Manchester City Home Shirt.

''This is another first for City. We've take the soulful connection from the fans, this immense energy, and then embodied it into a shirt in a really new way.''



The unique design celebrates the special relationship between Manchester City supporters and players. The new home shirt features a special sound-wave graphic subtly embedded on the chest, which is based on a recording of the club's fans singing their anthem 'Blue Moon'.
