Smalling is in the fortunate position of learning his trade from two of the best defenders in World football; Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. Like Ferdinand, Smalling is currently wearing Nike T90 Laser III football boots, one pair of which he was kind enough to sign for the SoccerBible's fans.
