Wesley Sneijder (Inter Milan) Nike T90 Laser IV

Who else could we have started with? Wesley Sneijder is the focus of the boot world right now, once again wearing his blacked-out pair of Nike T90 Laser IV football boots! Featuring a newly designed 'Shot-Shield', the Inter Milan midfielder was putting his new boots to the test against Manchester City in the Dublin Super Cup.

Thierry Henry (Ney York Red Bulls) Puma King Finale

New Puma recruit Thierry Henry was the star attraction at this weekend's Emirates Cup. The former Arsenal striker returned to the club where he scored a record amount of goals wearing Nike Mercurial boots. As he reaches the twilight of his career, the Red Bulls hit-man is seeing out his playing days in the classy Puma King Finale boots.

Nigel de Jong (Manchester City) Puma King Finale

Have Puma pulled off another summer signing? Manchester City midfielder and Holland international Nigel de Jong has worn both adiPURE III and blacked-out adiPURE IV boots in recent seasons, but now seems to have made a brand switch! He was spotted wearing Puma King Finale boots during this weekends Dublin Super Cup.

Lionel Messi (Messi Friends) adidas F50 adiZero

Who ever said pre-season isn't fun? Lionel Messi was in charity action this weekend as 'Messi Friends' took on the 'Stars of the World' in a goal-filled charity match in Mexico City that finished 5-4 to Messi's star-studded line-up. He'll meet up with his Barca team-mates who are currently on their US pre-season tour. Oh, and Messi was wearing synthetic Electricity F50 adiZero boots - a one off or something we might be seeing more of?

Juan Iturbe (Argentina U20) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

Still overwhelmingly out-numbered by the granite/purple/white/redNike Superfly III boots, the latest orange colourway is out there to be spotted if you look hard enough! Juan Iturbe was in U20 World Cup action this weekend wearing his personalised new Superfly boots as his national side took on Mexico. We're still waiting on the anticipated Cristiano Ronaldo debut though!

Gianpolo Pazzini (Inter Milan) Nike Tiempo Legend IV

Inter Milan striker Gianpolo Pazzini was in action for Inter Milan this weekend wearing his uniquely configured Nike Tiempo Legend IV football boots. Fitted with a mixed sole plate, the Italian international looked to have two differently configured boots for the Dublin Super Cup, playing in a firm ground pair against Celtic on the Saturday. Shout out to Keith Hammond for the great close-up!

Frank Lehmann (FC Heidenheim) adidas Predator X

As clean as they come. FC Heidenheim keeper Frank Lehmann was spotted in an all white pair of adidas Predator X football boots as his side took on Werder Bremen in the DFB Cup. Perfect for the summer months, although he may want to reconsider his boot choice towards the end of the year!

Nicolai Mueller (Mainz) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

There's something about a soft-ground pair of Superfly football boots that makes them look even cooler! Nicolai Mueller was spotted in the granite/purple/white/redNike Superfly III football boots, bespoke with a custom SG sole-plate. Mainz were taking on Gaz Metan Medias in Europa League qualifying action.

Asamoah Gyan (Sunderland) Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite

An unexpected boot switch here! Sunderland striker and former adiZero goal-machine Asamoah Gyan was spotted in Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite football boots as his side took on Burnley in pre-season action. Gyan's reputation as an adiZero player came to prominence in last years world cup, but he looks to have been tempted away by Nike's new Tiempo's!

Andrey Arshavin (Arsenal) Nike Mercurial Superfly III

Arsenal's Russian speedster Andrey Arshavin took to the Emirates pitch this weekend wearing his new Nike Mercurial Superfly III football boots with 'Arshavin 23' personalisation on the outside. Kitted out in the new Nike Arsenal away kit and the new Nike Seitiro EPL ball, Arshavin certainly casts a strong advert for Nike Football in this picture!

Elkin Soto (Mainz) Mizuno Supersonic Wave II

Mainz veteran midfielder Elkin Soto is a big fan of Mizuno football boots! His latest boot choice is the pearl/blue/black Mizuno Supersonic Wave II - one of the Japanese brands latest releases designed for the play-maker. His Bundesliga side were in Europa League qualifying action against Gaz Metan Media.

John Rooney (New York Red Bulls) Nike T90 Laser III Elite

Same name, same boots. John Rooney, the younger brother of Wayne Rooney, made a brief appearance against Arsenal this weekend in the Emirates Cup. Playing for the New York Red Bulls, Rooney was spotted wearing a pair of blue/dusk/volt/blackNike T90 Laser III Elite football boots as his side drew 1-1 with Arsenal.
